Do You Put 515 Chemicals a Day on Your Body?

Dailymail.co.uk: “Women and beauty products – it’s a love affair that’s been going on for centuries. And no wonder. There’s nothing like a new lipstick or favourite perfume to make us look and feel good. Or so we thought…

In fact, according to a new report, most of our favourite cosmetics are cocktails of industrially produced and potentially dangerous chemicals that could damage our health and, in some cases, rather than delivering on their potent ‘anti-ageing’ promise, are causing us to age faster.

Research by Bionsen, a natural deodorant company, found that the average woman’s daily grooming and make-up routine means she ‘hosts’ a staggering 515 different synthetic chemicals on her body every single day.”

As if we don’t get enough chemicals in our body through air and water pollution, food contamination and from our synthetic clothing and household items – women especially – coat themselves with numerous poisons every day in the name of beauty.  It is estimated that every person in industrialised countries now contains more than 700 different chemical toxins in their body.

The aim of detoxification and eating organically grown food and drinking clean water, is to minimise the intake of chemicals wherever possible.  Part of lowering the body burden is also ensuring that any personal care or cleaning product used, is also organic and doesn’t contain harmful chemicals.

I recommend several companies who produce good quality products, but Miessence is one of my favourites.  They have skin care, hair care, oral care, cosmetics, health and cleaning products in their range – all 100% safe and effective.  Check them out and do your body a favour!
