Music For My Soul

As well as my Green Smoothie obsession, I have another obsession going on at the moment.  You can probably tell I don’t do things by halves!  It’s either all the way or not at all…

I have the new Sacred Earth CD, The Way Home, and I can’t stop playing it.  I have it on repeat at work for 8 hours at a time, it is in my car for when I’m driving, and I have it at home playing while I work on my computer.  I can’t get enough of it – the music, the vocals, the whole spirit of the music is nourishing my soul.

Sacred Earth are my favourite musicians, and they create such a beautiful connection to the divine with their sound, that it makes you want to either dance in ecstasy, or lay in total stillness and let every note reverberate within your whole body.  It resonates on a different level, and I can’t explain the power and feeling it generates.

Prem’s soaring vocals lift you up and leave you somewhere in the clouds – it is perfect to meditate to, and some of the repetitive chants can take you into a deep meditative state.

Sacred Earth are just as magnificent live, as they are on CD, and they are touring Australia through March and April.  I’ve already purchased my tickets for the Gold Coast event and am contemplating going to the Byron Bay one as well!!
